Mountain Sustainability Indicators
The Mountain Sustainability Indicators (MSI) aim to accelerate a mountain community’s sustainability performance and actions. They measure progress towards the SDG global framework and place-based priority goals. The MSI team completed the project’s pilot phase through engagements with two Colorado mountain communities.
Wider roll-out of the MSI Tool as a ‘starter’ resource for mountain communities across the UN Mountain Partnership regions is underway. We aim to inspire sustainability action in mountain communities around the world.
